I'll be at the Missouri River Regional Library in Jefferson City on Tuesday, March 13, to discuss what I learned while researching and writing the novels of my historical DarkHorse Trilogy:
- The Lies That Bind, set in antebellum Mississippi;
- Honor Among Outcasts, set in Civil War Missouri; and
- Something in Madness, set in Mississippi during Reconstruction.
I'll spend time on Reconstruction in particular and how its effects still reverberate today. The event will be held in the library's second-floor art gallery. It is free and open to the public.
